We want to thank all of our members who went out into the community and sold raffle tickets. This helped the club raise just that much more to give to the community!

On Wednesday, December 15th, we collected all the raffle ticket's stubs. The stubs were put into manila envelopes for storage. Then Monique Schill, Gail Santora, Mitzi Long and Cynthia Ryden meet in Southlake Town Hall for the drawing. We drew for six (6) trees. Many people were excited about our beautiful Christmas trees and if you had the chance to see the trees, you would know why. If you have not had a chance to review the brochure that was in your stocking that you received from the Gala event, it provided pictures of the trees!

The winners of the raffle are as follows:

Tree 3 - Green Goddess - went to Fonda Martin...Fonda is president of Supporters of Safehaven

Tree 4 - Glitz & Glam - went to Tammy Glidewell ... a bootcamp buddy of Mitzi Long

Tree 5 - Gold Rush - went to State Representative Vicki Truitt

Tree 6 - Peppermint Bay - went to Helen Rexroat - Helen works for Wells Fargo Investments at Southlake Town Square

All of the ladies that received their tree were giddy! They were so appreciative of winning and wanted to thank everyone from the club who made the raffle possible. We took pictures of each stub that was drawn, so if there is any questions on the process we have it documented.

The best thing about winning the Christmas tree is that Monique enlisted a moving company to be a sponsor and they delivered the trees to our winners' home. All the winners had to do was take the plastic off the tree and fluff. How cool is that?
