The Greater Southlake Women’s Society is open to anyone who possesses an interest in volunteerism, a commitment to serve the community with others and a willingness to stay involved. GSWS conducts monthly General Membership meetings during the school year. Meetings are typically held the first Wednesday of the month from 11:00 am-1 pm at Timarron Country Club in Southlake. Visitors and guest are welcome to attend our luncheon meetings and other programs and learn more about this wonderful organization.
Membership Responsibilities: Complete and submit current membership application to 1st Vice President of Membership, along with annual membership dues.
- Attend three (3) General Membership Meetings per year (Meetings are typically held the first Wednesday of the month, from 11 am- 1 pm)
- Attend annual fundraiser (Festival of Trees) and sell or purchase at least one ticket to support it
- Serve as a member of at least one committee . Must commit by October of any year and fulfill the obligations of that committee. Exceptions are serving as chairperson or Board Member of any given year.
- Serve at least one community service shift sanctioned by GSWS
Financial Obligations: Pay annual dues (January-December 2010) of $60. (Please note, membership dues for September-December 2009 are $25.)
